Developlus is a developer which is designed to neutralize ammonia (found in all permanent haircolor). By neutralizing ammonia Developlus stops the swelling of the cuticle layer during the color process. Instead, Developlus fractionalizes color molecules smaller, so they can penetrate the hairshaft without swelling the cuticle layer at all.
